Unisus [Unicorn]
A winged unicorn born of pegasus and unicorn bloodlines that plunges from the sky with horn and hooves for devastating diving strikes.
Appearance
A unisus (plural unisi) is a crossbreed of unicorn and pegasus: a unicorn with feathered pegasus wings.
Combat
On the ground it fights as a unicorn does. From the air it can dive like a unicorn's charge, needing only 15 feet of room because gravity supplies the force; on a running start it can also drive itself forward with its wings. A diving unisus strikes with hooves as well as horn. All these attacks gain +2 to hit, stacking with every other bonus including the horn's usual +2, and its hooves deal double damage in the dive.
Habitat and Society
It lives and behaves just as a pegasus does. Maidens of any race who are pure of heart may ride it.
Ecology
Its ecology is also that of a pegasus. The horn is used to brew potions of flying.
