Palomino Unicorn

White to pale cream in color, with gray or brown eyes, it is also called a criocorn.

Its horn unleashes cone of cold, chill metal and ice storm, each once per day at 11th level. Natural or magical cold and exposure cannot harm it. In snow its coloring imposes a -6 penalty on opponents' surprise rolls; elsewhere the penalty is only -2, since it is ill at ease on unfamiliar ground.

These polar unicorns pair for life, though a few roam alone. They leave no territorial marks yet slay every trespasser. A very evil woman who wields cold magic or serves a god of cold may ride one.

Palominos will eat anything they can catch or scavenge. Ink made from the horn is required for scrolls of protection from cold.
