Pink Dragon

Its rose hide and dopey grin make the pink dragon look so silly that it has no fear aura, and many adventurers have paid for underestimating it. It dens almost anywhere, usually underground, and loves conversation, though a guest who ignores its jokes tends to end up as dinner.

A second stomach mixes fat with a lye-like fluid, and the dragon exhales the result as a bubble cloud like that of a horn of bubbles: 60 by 50 feet, 20 feet high, lasting 2-12 rounds. Failing a save vs. breath weapon means soap in the eyes and 4-16 rounds of painful blindness. Spellcasting is nearly impossible, attacks, saves and damage take -6 (minimum 1), Dexterity AC bonuses are lost, and movement is random. A successful save means the eyes closed in time, leaving just the usual blindness penalties. Goggles reduce the problem to -2 to hit while the bubbles last, and nothing saves against that, since the froth blocks infravision and ultravision too. The dragon shuts clear inner eyelids, locates prey by batlike sonar, and claws and bites with deadly precision.

One pink dragon in five (20%) gains a random 1st-level illusionist spell at each age stage; a repeated spell can be cast twice daily.
