Cunning raven-shaped servants of a sinister bird goddess, these city birds steal, spy and kill with poisoned claws on behalf of her evil priesthood.
They look exactly like ravens, and in the big cities where they roost no one can tell them from common crows.
Far smarter than true birds and trained as thieves and assassins, they strike from darkness to snatch valuables or deal lethal wounds. They go for eyes and armor gaps by instinct, gaining +1 to hit. Claws are poisoned 20% of the time; a wounded victim who fails a save vs. poison dies within 2d10 rounds.
A priest of the Raven Mother can summon and command 2d6 of them; her high priestess or avatar calls 3d10. They swarm to any new temple of hers, often alongside other evil fliers.
Shaped by the goddess's malice rather than nature, they never nest or breed and live only to serve her and her worshippers' wicked ends.
