A six-armed, serpent-bodied fiend of the lower planes, the abhir hunts strong warriors as sacrifices for her dark masters and terrorizes even lesser planar evils.
The abhir is a woman from the waist up, with six arms, and a huge snake below. Reared to her full height she towers over a big man.
Each of her six hands can wield a weapon, and she favors magical swords and battle axes. Her serpent tail can crush a victim in its coils, and she can cloak a 5-foot radius in magical darkness. She has infravision. Once per round she may use one of these powers: charm person, detect invisibility, levitate (as an 11th-level wizard), polymorph self, project image, pyrotechnics, read languages or teleport. She can also call another abhir to her side by gate, succeeding 50% of the time.
Abhirs crave the sacrifice of mighty warriors and constantly look for evil work to do for their masters in the outer planes. Lesser fiends dread these cruel, domineering creatures.
