Circle of Pride of the Seven-Circle Realm

GameMaster September 3, 2022 2 min read

Within the enigmatic Circle of Pride resides Gravicarius, the illustrious “Shining Star,” a being of unparalleled arrogance and charm. As the Exarch of this mysterious circle, he views himself as no less than a demon prince, a Lord of Hell, or even a celestial deity. And who’s to say that, in certain aspects, he isn’t? A fervent believer in his own abilities, he takes delight in his current role, ensuring that Gehenna’s dark ledgers are meticulously recorded and their enigmatic purposes fulfilled.

If whispers of Gehenna’s alliance with the Lords of Heaven hold true, if this alliance sustains the infernal war between Hell and the Abyss and judges mortals for their sins, then one can be certain that this pact was orchestrated by the very hands of Gravicarius. Though he doesn’t wear the crown of Gehenna’s king, he stands unmatched as its supreme citizen.

On first glance, the Circle of Pride may deceive the eyes, appearing devoid of malevolence. A sanctuary of perfection, filled with daemons of incomparable beauty, breathtaking works of art and architecture, and scholars of profound wisdom, it might almost be mistaken for paradise. But this Eden-like facade hides a venomous truth.

For in this ostensibly perfect realm, every inhabitant is intoxicated with their own sense of supremacy and righteousness. Guided solely by their desires, they act with the conviction that their will is infallible merely because it is their own.

Such arrogance gives birth to a cauldron of chaos, bubbling with murder, theft, and a relentless undercurrent of treachery. And at the eye of this storm, none is more convinced of his own impeccable nature than Gravicarius. The atrocities he has unleashed, all in the name of what he deems to be “right,” are enough to freeze the very marrow in one’s bones.
